1. Overview
Jifen is designed as a local-first creative app. Photos you import or capture, thumbnails, city-stamp styles, inspection records, app preferences, and coin balance are generally stored on your device so the app can run its creative editing and archive features.
We do not currently operate user accounts, behavioral advertising, third-party ad tracking, or a public social network inside Jifen. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used under California privacy law.
Important: If you choose to email us for support, your email address, message content, attachments, and related technical details will be handled outside the app so we can respond.

3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To let you capture, import, preview, edit, stamp, archive, delete, and export photos.
- To create the app’s fictional inspection trail, visual scan stages, badges, and local archive organization.
- To remember your settings, including sound, reduced motion, default city, stamp style, and layout.
- To provide optional coin purchase functionality and update your local coin balance after completed purchases.
- To respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, enforce the User Agreement, and comply with applicable law.
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on consent, performance of the app experience you request, legitimate interests such as support and security, and compliance with legal obligations, depending on the context.
4. Device Permissions
Jifen may request access to the following device permissions:
- Camera: to capture photos for the inspection and stamping flow.
- Photo library access: to let you select photos for import.
- Photo saving access: to let you save exported stamped images to your library.
You can grant, limit, or revoke these permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
6. Retention and Deletion
Photo records, thumbnails, settings, and coin balance are retained on your device until you delete records, clear app data, uninstall the app, reset the device, or otherwise remove them. Device backups, iCloud or other backup systems, and exported files may retain copies according to your settings and provider policies.
Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve support operations.
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, appeal of certain decisions, or information about how your personal information is used and disclosed.
You may ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, where applicable. Most in-app photo records are already on your device.
You may ask us to correct inaccurate information we hold. You can edit or delete local records directly in the app where supported.
You may delete local records in the app or contact us to request deletion of support records we maintain, subject to legal exceptions.
You can revoke device permissions in system settings and request opt-out where a regional privacy law provides that right.
To exercise rights, email jifencyl@163.com. We may need to verify your request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law.
